I love Sarah Dessen and I knew I wanted to read this, but it’s such a heavy topic that I was legitimately scared to start it. I’ve been putting this book off for a while now, but with good reason. But what happens when being with Rogerson becomes a larger problem than being without him? Being with him makes Caitlin forget about everything else–her missing sister, her withdrawn mother, her lackluster life. Rogerson is different from anyone Caitlin has ever known. Ever since she started going out with Rogerson Biscoe, Caitlin seems to have fallen into a semiconscious dreamland where nothing is quite real.
